Our Policy on Cookies

In a studio that builds digital products for the European market, we approach every technical detail with the same rigor as a design decision. Cookies are not merely a compliance checkbox; they are a fundamental layer of how a user’s session persists, how an interface remembers context, and how a product functions without interruption.

This policy outlines our stance: we use a minimal, purpose-driven set of cookies necessary for the site’s core functionality. We do not deploy third-party tracking for advertising, and we respect the user's right to understand and control their data. For a Prague-based company working under the scrutiny of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), transparency isn't optional—it’s the architecture of trust.

If you are a developer auditing our front-end or a client evaluating our technical diligence, this document serves as a reference. It’s written to be clear, concise, and aligned with the practical constraints of modern web development.

The Decision Lens

Before writing any cookie logic, we evaluate it against three criteria derived from our client work in regulated industries.

Criterion

Is it strictly necessary for the page to render or a form to submit?

If no, we don’t include it.

Optimizes For

Session continuity and security.

Example: Preventing form data loss on page refresh.

What It Sacrifices

Behavioral analytics and personalized content.

We gain privacy, lose granular user journey data.

Cookie Types We Use

A transparent breakdown of categories, lifespan, and specific use cases.

Essential Cookies

Core function. Cannot be disabled via our banner.

  • _SessionID Temporary. Expires at browser close. Maintains your session state (e.g., active form submissions, contact page captcha validation).
  • _CSRF-Token 24-hour expiry. Prevents Cross-Site Request Forgery in our contact forms and password-protected portals.
  • Consent Status 1-year expiry. Remembers your choice regarding non-essential cookies so you don’t see the banner repeatedly.

Your Control & How To Exercise It

In a user test session with Czech participants, we observed a strong preference for explicit controls. People don't want to hunt for settings; they want clarity. Here’s how to manage your cookies for this site.

Direct via Our Banner

When you first visit, a banner appears. You can accept all, reject all, or manage preferences. Essential cookies will always be active. Your choices are saved for one year.

Via Your Browser

You can clear cookies manually in your browser's privacy settings. Be aware that removing the SessionID cookie will log you out of any active form submissions and reset your navigation state.

Realistic Constraint

Browser settings vary by platform (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Clear instructions must be generic but accurate.

Have a Question About Our Data Practices?

As a company operating under strict EU data laws, we take these matters seriously. If you have concerns, need documentation for your own compliance review, or want to discuss data handling in a project, our team is available.
